So much time has passed...

Wow! I can't believe how quickly this year is going by. I must have been so absorbed with my little munchkins, training for marathons, and traveling to visit family and friends that several months of not posting have espcaped me. Life is good, indeed, but sometimes the "busyness" of it all can become too much. My husband is good at reminding me to ssslllooowww down and just relax and be in the moment. We all need that, don't we?

Despite this crazy economy and the recession, business IS GOOD and we have picked up several more wholesalers/retailers. It is so exciting to know that my clothing and designs are loved by others! When my parents and family and friends found out I was pregnant, they were ecstatic! I realized quickly how much everybody wanted to be a part of this little baby growing inside me...but also how much I wanted my baby to be a part of their lives too. How quickly Christmas and the New Year zipped on by...now it is time to get ready for such a sweet holiday - Valentine's Day! Roslyn's Closet just created 2 adorable designs for your cuties. These are so much fun, because they are personalized! All you have to do is let us know what your little love's name is, and we will add it onto the design. These are super cute, and we believe these shirts will get alot more use than just for Valentine's Day.

After the holiday rush, we had a little down time (which was nice). During this down time I got inspired and started sewing different felt designs onto our baby hats. Many of these hats were taken from designs I already created for our onesies and tees...like the silly monkey, turtle, cow, and pig. These make adorable gifts for baby showers! Personalized Canvas Wall Art for Your Baby or Toddler!

Over the past few weeks, I has been working on new artwork that can be displayed in a baby nursery or toddler's bedroom. Each design I created is printed onto canvas and then stretched over wooden bars, so that your artwork will be "ready to hang", with absolutely no framing needed. The most special thing about our canvas wall art is that it is personalized! That's right...you will get to have your very own little love's name on their piece of artwork. We have many different colors and themes to choose from. These canvases make special gifts for ANY occasion. We just added these canvases to our Roslyn's Closet Website.

Shabby Chic Crochet Beanies --- Pretty Cute!

I am in love with our new crochet beanies with a shabby chic style flower. I love creating each flower for the hat, which entails taking different scraps of fabric, lace, and fake flowers and then putting them together with a vintage brad right in the center. The great thing about these crochet beanies is that they are very stretchy and will fit babies from about 12 months up to 10 years of age. Of course my little girl wears them all around town, and the compliments and smiles she gets from strangers are so sweet. Check them out ... we have several different colors to choose from. Right now, my favorite is the black crochet beanie with the red flower and white maribou - perfect for the holidays!

Roslyn's Closet now has a BLOG!

Welcome to our new and improved blog for Roslyn's Closet! We attempted doing one last year, but never utilized it fully. But now that we have a NEW website with many NEW products, we decided it was time to get serious about blogging.

With our brand-new look, came many changes...including creating new business cards and our logo. My dear friend from back in the day, Summer, who is a professional graphic designer came up with our new designs. So now my website matches my business cards and our logo! I am so happy with how everything has turned out.
